Our history

Accapofitto was born as a brand of the Serpap hat factory, which has been on the Italian hat factory scene for 20 years now.

The Serpap company was founded in 1997 in Lucca, from the twenty-year experience of the two founding partners who over the years have distinguished themselves for professionalism and quality, following and supervising every production phase, offering an exclusively Made in Italy product. An artisan company producing accessories, hats and caps both knitted and in fabric, felt, straw, for men, women and children.

In recent years the company has produced thousands of garments for the Italian and foreign markets, collaborating with the major fashion brands .

To celebrate 20 years of activity, the Serpap company has founded its own brand, Accapofitto , strongly desired by its creators Lucia and Simona .

With Simona's premature and painful death, the project had been shelved, but now, precisely to shed light on all the creative work of the two sisters-in-law, it has been resumed and carried forward with all the enthusiasm that Simona left us.

With Accapofitto , Serpap faces a new multimedia reality, to keep up with the times, to try to also meet individual customers and to test itself with a new challenge, always in the name of Made in Italy .
