Your journey begins with a warm welcome inside our workshop in Lucca.
Here you’ll discover the story of Serpap and Accapofitto, a family business that has been preserving and celebrating Italian craftsmanship for almost thirty years.
Our artisans will introduce you to the world of hat making, explaining the different styles, techniques and traditions behind every handcrafted piece.

DESIGN YOUR OWN HAT
Every hat tells a story.
Together with our artisans, you’ll discover the model that best suits your face shape, personality and style.
You’ll then create your own moodboard, selecting fabrics, colours, ribbons and details to design a hat that is truly yours.
EXPERIENCE TRUE CRAFTSMANSHIP
Once your design is complete, you’ll enter the heart of our production workshop.
You’ll witness every stage of the process: from cutting the fabric to sewing and the final finishing touches.
If you wish, you’ll also have the opportunity to take part in some of the crafting steps alongside one of our skilled artisans.
TAKE HOME YOUR STORY
Your experience ends with more than a handcrafted hat.
You’ll take home a unique piece, created just for you, beautifully presented in Accapofitto’s premium packaging — a lasting memory of authentic Italian craftsmanship.
